Activities For Toddlers In Boston – Updated 2019

This post was first written at the beginning of 2018, and I’ve updated a couple spots, but I need to continue to add to the list! Comment with your favorite activities in Boston for kiddos below.

1. Minni – this is hands down Evie’s favorite place to go! She loves the creative programs and the teachers…so much so that we recently celebrated her 4th birthday there! If you go, tell them Evie sent you. 😉

2. Little Lovage Club in the South End – Last Fall we attended the Storytime Art Class on Fridays by Miss Ashley at Little Loveage and we had a blast! Every class started with a book and then the littles would dive into some art projects and activities organized by Ashley & the Lovage team and ended with a song/bubbles. It was well planned, creative and such a fun atmosphere for Evie!  Little Lovage has a wide array of classes for littles & adults, fun events, and offers space rental and themed parties for hosting birthdays/other events. I’m so glad we found this special spot in Boston!

3. Music and Movements Class at The Boston Children’s Museum – Evie and her nanny attend the Music & Movements Class every week to play instruments, sing, dance, and play. She is slightly obsessed with Mr. Dillon of Little Groove who plays live music, sings, and organizes the class each week. It’s so funny to see her walk through the door so excited to tell me about what they sang and danced to in the class! She loves to play instruments and perform different songs she learns to us and our families – we are thrilled she’s so interested in music as it’s a big part of both Cody and I (and our families) lives.

4. Storytime at the Adams St. Boston Public Library with Miss Megan – another one of Evie’s favorite classes with her nanny. They typically go each Tuesday and it’s been really fun to see what arts & crafts they make and what stories they read. I highly recommend checking out your local library to see what activities they have! I love that they are free and so close!

5. Indoor Toddler Town at Marina Bay Sportsplex – Okay, every parent in Boston needs to know about this place when the weather is bad. It’s basically a massive indoor playground to help get all that energy out when they can’t be outside. I think it’s only open during the week and has a minimal entry fee, but we love it so much!

Other activities we love: walking around Boston Public Garden, visiting the Beacon Hill playground, trips to the Boston Public Library kids area for books/interacting with other kids.
