You know those businesses that leave an incredible impression from the first step through the door? Progress, in South Park (of San Diego), is one of those. A friend at work first told me about them and she definitely knows how much I appreciate good design, furniture and small treasures to add to my coffee table collection. We decided to make an afternoon date of it. Once we arrived, Bruce, the owner, and his pup welcomed us with a warm hello. Right away, I was in small shop heaven. Not only does Progress carry my favorite reads, but they also feature local creative talent in San Diego. I can’t help but love supporting businesses like Progress, it’s one of those places you leave hoping they really do great! If you live in San Diego and haven’t had the opportunity to experience Progress, I insist you do. Be sure to say hi to Bruce and Christy for me!
