I may be venturing out and about a bit more than I have over the past 18+ months, but my day-to-day makeup hasn’t really changed all that much. I still focus on the basics and all in all, it takes me about five minutes to do my look every morning.
But I have some new additions to that routine, that are helping to make my morning makeup routine even easier – and even more enjoyable…

Considering I’ve already ordered several more of their products, it’s safe to say I’ve become quite the fan, quite quickly.
What I love about Merit is the simplicity, minimalist, and chic style, of each product. Merit’s products have become essentials to my morning makeup routine making it more streamlined than ever.
My 5-Minute Makeup Routine
Step 01. Last year, I was eager to finish my Beautycounter Tint Skin so I could try out the ILIA Skin Tint. Let’s just say, I tried it out and it’s not going anywhere. Every morning’s makeup routine begins with my trusted ILIA Skin Tint.
Step 02. Then I use the Merit Skin Perfecting Complexion Stick – I use it more like concealer. It’s so lightweight with nice coverage, it’s a must have!
Step 03. After that, I apply the Merit Flush Balm to my cheeks in the color Beverly Hills. Cream blush can be intimidating but Merit’s Flush Balm glides right on and melts into the skin so easily.
Step 04. Then, I use the Merit Day Glow Highlighting Balm. It’s the perfect product to add a little extra glow!
Step 05. Next, are my eyes. I add my Ere Perez Jojoba Eyeliner, curl my eyelashes, and apply the Merit Mascara. This mascara is perfect for a little length and lift. I also love the ilia mascara!
Step 06. My eyebrows get a bit of my trusted Anastasia Eyebrow Pencil and on top I use the Merit Brow 1980 Volumizing Pomade. With a little tint and an all day hold, it’s an essential in the morning makeup routine.
Step 07. I finish my look off with a little ILIA Nightlite Bronzing Powder.
Step 08. For everyday, I usually just apply lip balm, but if I’m doing something fun that day, I will wear one of Merit’s Shade Slick Tinted Lip Oils.
