First, let’s get to know Kirsten:
“I am an interior stylist that is totally self taught and really passionate about design. I’ve been blogging now for 7 years. I started when my kids were both toddlers. It was a hobby for myself and my friends to enjoy, and then from there it turned into a business. I’ve loved the journey that it has put me on and I couldn’t be more thankful for the relationships and partnerships that I have created through blogging and designing”. – Kirsten

1. What is your favorite space in your home? Why?
When we first started house hunting, I wanted to find a home that had a great living space that would be easy to entertain in. The moment we walked into our home, I knew it was the one. The living area is opened up to the dining and kitchen areas. There are lots of big windows allowing for natural light to come in at all times of the day. It’s a relaxing, oasis!Kirsten Grove of Simply Grove via Oh, I Design Blog2. How do you utilize the space?
I work in this room, entertain in this room and lounge in this room. It has become all things to all people!Kirsten Grove of Simply Grove via Oh, I Design Blog Kirsten Grove of Simply Grove via Oh, I Design Blog3. What did the decorating process look like? (for ex: Did it kind of all come together naturally or did you create a pinterest board and plan each piece you purchased?)
I have decorated and re-decorated this space a plethora of times. I am never attached to furniture or accessories, so moving on to bigger and better design is an easy transition for me. And because I get products sent to my periodically, I am able to switch out stuff like most people change their socks.

4. What are 3 of your go-to furniture + accessory stores when buying for your home?
It changes from season to season. Right now I would have to say Ikea, West Elm and eBay. Ikea always has budget friendly products that still look fabulous. West Elm consistently gets cooler and cooler. And because I love having custom/original items in my home, eBay is a must.

5. If you could change one thing about the space, what would it be and why?
Take down the hideous ceiling fan! You don’t see it in these images but believe me, it’s bad. It helps in the summer BUT it’s bad.Kirsten Grove of Simply Grove via Oh, I Design BlogI hope you guys enjoyed getting to know Kirsten and taking a peek into her beautiful living room. I love Kirsten’s style – she and her home are absolutely adorable!

Couldn’t agree more! 🙂

So Beautiful!!! My favorite part of my home is hard to pick. Right now the front porch. We love to sit out there as a family at night and talk about the best parts of our day.

I loooove front porches! They are perfect for a glass of wine and relaxing at the end of the day with loved ones. Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
