WORLD MARKET SHOPPING TRIP + WHAT I LEFT WITH

Like I mentioned in my last post about WM, I haven’t visited a Cost Plus World Market since I moved to Boston (two years ago!) and boy have I missed it! I was not able to attend the Grand Opening event due to Evie’s birth, so we ended up venturing to the store in Framingham, MA last weekend.

First of all, if you’ve never been to World Market, they literally have something for everyone. Say home decor isn’t your thing, they also have a phenomenal selection of beer/wine and international food that might tickle your fancy. One of my favorite sections to peruse is the kitchen + dining area – it’s full of beautiful dinnerware, kitchen tools & containers (if you know me personally, you know I love a good container), table linens, serveware, etc. I could get lost in this section. Second, I love how well-priced everything is and there’s always some kind of promotion going on. All of that said, Framingham…you will be seeing a lot more of me from now on. 😉

Our shopping experience was fantastic other than the fact that we picked the busiest time to go (Saturday afternoon…oops)! I really wanted to go home with a rug, but I couldn’t make up my mind and tend to get anxiety when I feel like I am in the way of someone else and making decisions on the spot. So I will be returning to look at the rugs again VERY soon and maybe on a Tuesday or something when it’s less crowded. Anyway, we had such a wonderful time picking out a few things and I thought I would share what was in our shopping bag(s) with you guys.World Market + Oh, I Design BlogHow great is that marble + wood pedestal cake stand?! I am so close to getting the larger one as well but didn’t want to overdo it in the store. We have been desperately needing a cheese slicer (I think we were both mice in another life) and this marble one we found was perfect. We also loved this utensil container.
World Market + Oh, I Design BlogI have been looking for a cleaning storage bin for awhile but everything I found was cheesy and plastic (I also didn’t look that hard). I obviously couldn’t pass up this cute storage caddy one!World Market + Oh, I Design BlogBecause candles are the best…and this one was my favorite in the store. Yes, I smelled all of them. Shop the collection here: Wine Bottle Filled CandleWorld Market + Oh, I Design BlogAlso, I don’t know how many times I have put a tea bag on a paper towel and it soaked through and thought to myself, I need to get a little dish so this will stop happening. Or stop being lazy…either way. Anyway, I found these “You are my Cup of Tea” small dishes and had to grab them! World Market + Oh, I Design BlogThey have really great coffee but I’ve never tried the Hazelnut kind – I will let you know how it is! World Market + Oh, I Design BlogNow for my favorite items we left with…the Ellie Rolling Hamper and a new set of towels! I am obsessed. The hamper looks so good in our bathroom (which is a mess right now or I would’ve taken a photo of it in there) and the new set of towels are for our guest bath! Oh, and not pictured are these cute Monogram Letter Hooks that we are going to hang above the laundry hamper for our towels.
World Market + Oh, I Design BlogWell, what do you think?! You should visit World Market’s website – I would love to know what’s on your wish list! Also, if you are thinking of visiting the Framingham store, let me know because we should totally go together! 🙂
