WEAR THIS || LIVE THERE NO. 5

Neon is trending right now and not just in sportswear and construction vests. Add a pop of it to your person and place, and your nouns will take on a breath of new life.wear this // live there via oh, i design blog wear this // live there via oh, i design blogI’m wearing it here in a conspicuous neon green bustier, but pairing it with a full skirt of an earthy green somehow makes it subtler. Wear neon with greys and whites or other earth tones for an understated statement, or black for a brighter pop. Personally, I love the full skirt because it evokes a tea-party-meets-edgy feel, but you can’t go wrong with some bright neon sneakers at the end of your neutral or otherwise simple getup!wear this // live there via oh, i design blog wear this // live there via oh, i design blogwear this // live there via oh, i design blog wear this // live there via oh, i design blog Adding pops of neon to the home is a trend to embrace because it’s just as easily undone. A splash of accent paint doesn’t require you to completely reconfigure your style or existing pieces. Warm woods and airy white linens are a perfect, cozy foundation for a bold and exciting dash of phosphorescence. A simple room asserts itself with crown molding in a highlighter hue, a neon lamp’s radiant shade brightens a room even whilst turned off, a fun chair or neon throw pillow is interchangeable and declares your intrepid sense of style, and even painting unsightly hardware a neon tint suddenly turns an eyesore into eye candy. Don’t be afraid to experiment or make a gallant decision when it comes to a pinch of neon. Your nouns deserve the attention. wear this // live there via oh, i design blog wear this // live there via oh, i design blogwear this // live there via oh, i design blog
