One of my favorite things to do during the holidays is to find a unique gift for each of my loved ones. To me, the holidays are not about spending a ton of money on gifts that don’t really mean much to that person, it’s about finding that one gift that is unique and special to them. Give being the emphasis here. That being said, I am so excited to share this exciting news with you:
The Grommet – a company based out of Somerville, MA and a resource for makers to get their unique products discovered and helps them succeed – recently opened their first-ever Pop-in Shop just in time for the Holidays! They have partnered with local retailer, Michelle Willey, to set up shop within her storefront in Boston’s South End.
I recently had the opportunity to attend their Pop-in Shop Launch Party and truly enjoyed meeting some of the Grommet team, they are like the makers’ best cheerleader and I love that about them! Also, I am still have dreams about the yummy cookies! 😉 One of my favorite things about The Grommet is they showcase the makers’ stories – it makes you feel more connected to the product and proud to support them. They even have an iPad set up so you can learn more about their stories with the product in front of you!
Below are a few of my personal favorites from the curated Pop-in Shop (it was hard to choose as they are all great):1 // the day designer 2 // savine: wine saver carafe 3 // s’well insulated reusable bottle 4 // cuppow travel lids for mason jars 5 // napa soap company: shaving kit 6 // goodlinens: 100% linen bath & kitchen towels
The Grommet has made it easy to find something thoughtful, inspiring, innovative, or useful for everyone on your list. Can’t make it to the store? Loved meeting you there! I’m still dreaming of my cake pop too… I’m hoping to get to “pop-in” there one more time before Christmas Eve!
It was so great meeting you as well, Lindsay! Looking forward to seeing you in the near future 🙂 xo
