It’s no surprise that I’m a die-hard Follain fan through and through; Tara (the founder) introduced me to the world of clean beauty back in 2013 and I haven’t looked back since. What began as a simple trip into their newly opened Boston store in the South End and a purchase of their (now iconic) refillable soap and my first face oil, has now led me down a road discovering a personal passion and way of life.
It’s easy to get lost in all the “noise” in our content packed worlds, but often hard to weed through and find the sources that you can trust. And that’s what Follain is for me. They equal trust. I trust them to share new brands and products with me that I can have faith in. And not only that, they encourage a type of community that promotes positivity, inspiration, and education. Their events are also awesome (when we could have them! Remember those days… sigh…).
So all of this is to say that when I heard that Follain was creating their own line, I was absolutely thrilled! And beyond excited to try out the products!
They launched with a core group of skincare products, including a Hydrating Cleanser, Toning Mist, Moisturizer, Eye Cream, and masks. All are dermatologist-tested, non-GMO, cruelty-free, and gluten-free…. All of Follain’s branded products are so easy to use (no confusing steps or applications to worry about) and so affordable, making them the perfect introduction to clean beauty for any newbie.
I jumped headfirst into trying out their masks, moisturizer, and eye cream first…
I love their masks! I often wear the hydrating mask to bed for an extra boost, and the Dual Detox Mask is my go-to when I feel like I need to hit refresh on my skin.
The Moisturizer is amazingly nourishing without being super goopy or thick; it absorbs really quickly which I like. It’s also anti-aging which I’m totally on board with since I did a number on my skin in my younger years.
And the eye cream? It’s a really lovely gel formula that I used all summer long and my eye area is feeling the benefits 🙂 I plan to continue to use it into the fall and especially slather on whenever I’m feeling tired; bye-bye puffiness and dark circles.
I love trying new clean beauty products and when they have the Follain logo on them, I feel as confident as can be in their quality. It’s been so fun seeing this brand grow, and I’m so excited to see how their own line expands, continuing to try out everything and anything they make 🙂
