Good Morning Friends – hope you are well rested from the weekend and ready to take on this week!

My weekend consisted of:

1. Coffee. Lots of it.
2. Putting the finishing touches on some mood boards for my client
3. Going to The Butcher Shop where I met up with my client and Lo of Lo Lo Event Design to discuss the mood boards
4. Enjoying some italian food in North End
5. Sunday at West Elm 🙂

Before I met with my client on Saturday, I walked around South End and my attention was fully drawn to how beautiful some of the store fronts were. This is true in most of the areas I have seen in Boston. But it got me thinking about how important it is to have a great store front, they reel people in. So whether you have a book store, design studio, or a flower shop – the front should really express what it is that is taking place on the inside. I mean, I do judge a book by it’s cover every now and then.  While looking around at the different facades, I found myself capturing photos just to remind myself to come back and visit or even just for inspiration.  One of my favorite store fronts in back in San Diego was Coffee & Tea Collective…and in bold black lettering it said…COFFEE. It was simple, and straight to the point. I loved it and their coffee 🙂

Here are a few of my favorite facades I found on pinterest:
