Essentials In My Beauty Travel Bag

March 23, 2017

I’m heading to Phoenix, AZ at the end of this month to celebrate one of my dearest San Diego friends and her upcoming wedding! I haven’t seen my friend in over 2 & 1/2 years so I absolutely cannot wait for this trip. I am also eager to experience some warm temps after a few weeks of very cold days here in Boston. That being said, my fair skin (other than my face) hasn’t seen the sun in like 5 months so I plan on seeing my friend Lauren at Pure Glow Organic Sunless Tanning for a spray tan before the trip! I have collaborated with

Anyway, I have partnered with Follain again to bring you another post to share what I will be bringing with me on this trip! You can read the first post in our collaboration series here.I am excited because I picked up a few of my go-to skincare products in a travel-size from Follain a couple weeks ago. This is going to be a game-changer as I’ve tried bringing my full-size products since I can’t live without them and it typically ends up in disaster (leaking, taking up too much space, etc.). So now I can fit everything into a small bag and won’t need to worry. I use the Farmaesthetics Herbal Cleanser like it’s going out of style, it’s my favorite cleanser in addition to another new favorite, Indie Lee’s Rosehip cleanser. I also use the Farmaesthetics Sweet Milk & Lavender and add it to the herbal cleanser to exfoliate. My skin needs exfoliating every other day mostly because of my lovely, large pores. I also love the Rahua Voluminous Shampoo & Conditioner and how cute are the bottles?! It’s so good. Then I bring my Josh Rosebrook Nutrient Day Cream because…bonus: there’s SPF! And lastly, I never leave without my Organic Bath Stress Less Body Butter. Typically I put an oil or serum on every morning/evening, but I don’t think I’m going to bring them on this trip since it’s going to be quick and with the warmer temps, I think I can get away with it.

Alright, on to makeup…

Other items I’m bringing: RMS Buriti Bronzer – This is on my wish list but I plan on purchasing before I leave for my trip. I don’t want to overdo it with powders so I’m going to try to bring mostly cream products to give a dewy and more natural look. I think I will also use this as an eyeshadow as well just to make it easy. Then I am bringing my FAVORITE brow tool, Glossier’s Boy Brow in Brown and the RMS magic Luminizer, my go-to highlighter tool…it’s the best. For our pool day, I’m going to need a little Raw Elements Tinted Facial SunscreenRose Hibiscus face mist from Herbivore, and Follain’s Mint Rose Lip balm. For our night out, I’m packing Jane Iredale’s mascara and Ilia’s Lipstick in Bang Bang and Perfect Day.

Since you made it to the end, we have a fun surprise for you! Follain is extending 10% off their purchase through March 31 using the code FOLLAINFRIENDS

Hope you have fun filling your travel bag!
