As I have been prepping my home office (and apartment) for an upcoming photo shoot, I am realizing that it’s about time to get an organized system for all of my fabric swatches, wallpaper samples, paint decks, etc. Right now they are all in these Ikea organization boxes sitting on my floor…and I need a shelving unit to house them. I have been contemplating something like the ones below or even constructing my own – like this super helpful “How to Make a Bookshelf” DIY.

At one point I had the luxury of a studio. But since moving here to San Diego, I had to let go of a lot of things and start all over again. I say do an IKEA hack of sorts like the last photo! Something bigger of course.. but I think the wheels idea is great since you can move it and make room for bigger projects when needed. 🙂
