I know I haven’t shared too many baby updates on the blog, but honestly I don’t know where the time has gone! Seems like yesterday that I was just announcing we were expecting and now 37 weeks is here and she could arrive any time!
This past month, Cody and I were reminded how truly lucky we are to be surrounded by so many wonderful people (near and far). We visited Oklahoma a month ago for one of my best friend’s wedding and our loved ones threw us a fun reunion/baby shower while we were in town. It has been really hard being so far from family during this time so this was a very special trip for us and now we can’t wait for our families to visit!
If we weren’t feeling the love enough already – a couple of weeks ago, two of my friends (Lauren and Sarah) planned a beautiful shower in Boston for Evie. I am extremely grateful to know so many fantastic women in Boston that Evie will grow up with.
How gorgeous is that spread?! Sarah – you really outdid yourself with the yummy brunch! I am still thinking about the scones + quiches. And Lauren – the decor was just so perfect…. I cannot thank you both enough! Now you might be curious about the gorgeous space we had the shower….and you might recognize it from a recent post – it’s a Breather! This is proof their spaces are great for more than just meetings or working!

We had some fun outside after the shower with the balloons – I mean, we may have caused some traffic delays on Newbury St. but it was all worth it! 🙂 I want to thank all of our loved ones that have gone above and beyond for us and baby Evie. Now it’s the last stretch of her arrival! 37 weeks and counting….
