My name is Jessica and I’m an interior designer, stylist, and lifestyle & travel blogger located in Boston, MA. I am a proud wife to a talented Landscape Architect, mom to Evie & Harvey…and a rescue dog named Bella. There are few days you will find me without a smile on my face and a coffee in hand. I’m an obsessive “de-clutter-er” and a collector of matchbooks and natural skin care products.

 

A few facts:

• I was born & raised in Oklahoma City and spent a few years in San Diego, CA before relocating to Boston, MA.
• I received my Bachelor of Science Degree with an Interior Design focus from Oklahoma State University.
• If I could eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be shabu (hot pot) or chips and queso.
• A few of my favorite things: new notebooks/planners, fresh flowers, cute dog videos, chai tea lattes, Scandinavian design, exploring the different neighborhoods of Boston, flea markets, traveling, organizing, a glass of red wine, and trying new skin care products.

Oh, I Design is a creative studio focusing on residential interior design, boutique commercial design, styling, e-design, and organization.

More than ever, we all need places that make us feel secure, happy and like ourselves. I believe it’s more about quality than quantity. It’s about having less “stuff”. It’s about finding the perfect balance of functionality and aesthetics. It’s about surrounding ourselves with furniture and decor that we love and not following all the trends.

Hiring a designer can be overwhelming, I get it. There are so many options and too many “rules” to follow. But one thing is certain: you can absolutely love the home you live in and I can show you how.

Oh, I Design Blog was established in 2011, during a move from Oklahoma to San Diego, CA. It was intended to be an outlet to connect with family and friends back home and a place where I could post design ideas and inspiration. Since then, it has become one of the leading resources for all things design and lifestyle in New England.
