3 Quick Snack Ideas For Toddlers

As of late, Evie has been extremely picky when it comes to food. She will be two next week so maybe that has something to do with it. But I’m getting a little overwhelmed coming up with new things to make and sometimes it feels I can barely feed myself. Some things she loves are: blueberries, strawberries, hummus, bananas, pickles, chicken (some days), applesauce, yogurt, and apples. See how there are no veggies listed…she will eat cucumbers every once in a while and there are veggies in her pouches and sometimes in a couple recipes I make. But who has time to sneak in veggies all the time?! I’m the worst about meal planning too which is why most of our dinners are from Hellofresh.  I also hate how quickly she eats pouches (which she loves). Anyway, I’ve come up with 3 easy snack/meal options for toddlers and thought it would be nice to share for those parents in need of new ideas!

1. For the busy parent that wants fresh and healthy options: I was recently introduced to Little Spoon – Fresh baby food made with Certified Organic + Non-GMO Ingredients and delivered straight to your door. Evie had the opportunity to try them out and it was a big success. The little spoons (ha!) that come with each baby blend are sized-perfectly and the packaging is so cute. Right now you can request an invite on their site but they will be launching soon! I can’t wait to keep these in our fridge to have for snacks or a side.
2. Hummus and tortilla/cucumber: this is our go-to snack for Evie because she likes to “dip” everything right now. So I will tear up some tortilla for her and she dips it in the hummus. I also cut up some cucumbers because she likes to dip those too. Perfect snack! 3. A cup of fruit and yogurt – this is super easy and nothing new obviously, but Evie loves yogurt with a little honey and fruit on the side. She doesn’t like it mixed in (haha picky thing).  Love this for quick mornings for the both of us!

Little Spoon provided us a few of their baby blends to try and we loved them so much we thought we would share! What are some of your favorite snacks for little ones?
