Thanks to some exciting new projects, the time has finally come where I am in need of an intern. I’ve been wanting to hire someone for a while now, but the timing was never right. Since having Evie, I am finding that I need to focus more on the design projects and less on misc. tasks. This would be a great opportunity for a design student, someone looking to move into the interior design/blogging world, or any creative that just wants to be apart of the behind the scenes of Oh, I Design!
Position: Design Intern
Location: Boston, MA
Hours: 5-15 hours per week, flexible
Compensation: Unpaid (installs will be a paid opportunity – tbd)
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Mac programs, Google Docs/Sheets
- Familiar with Adobe programs (Photoshop + InDesign)
- Sketch-up + WordPress knowledge is a huge bonus!
- Someone that is passionate about design + style
- Photography skills would be a dream
- Applicant must have laptop (mac preferred)
- Must be a hard worker and are nice to people
- Car is ideal but not necessary
Ex. Weekly Duties:
- assisting with blog posts, organizing photoshoots for blog, scheduling social media posts, running errands, researching and sourcing, assisting with project installs (unpacking boxes, shopping for accessories, etc), organizing materials and samples, grabbing coffee 🙂
