I cannot believe our Creative Connection San Diego mixer has already come and gone. It hands down was my favorite event we’ve put on so far! All thanks to west elm, the hostesses and awesome featured creatives/local businesses. All of the photos were taken by the ever so talented Jesse of Limelife Photography! 🙂
We were so lucky to have the Mangia Mangia Mobile team parked outside of West Elm for our event! Not only is their food INCREDIBLE but their team is just as awesome and just fun to be around. I ordered the Grilled Mahi Mahi and fries with pesto on top…my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Seriously if you are in the San Diego area, you must check them out!!
We also had the privilege of  featuring a lovely lady by the name of Teresa of Eat Drink & Be Skinny! She is an author and mixologist who made us some dangerously awesome “skinnytinis”.
So we have creative people, great food & drinks…what are we missing?? Ah yes, a photo booth! Well, we were just in luck because San Diego is the home to THE RADDEST photo booth of all….Amigo Booth! Allison, Rico and Rachel were a dream to work with and the photo booth was such a hit! I am so excited to use them for my wedding… the best part of their photo booth is they have an app that you can download and instantly see your photos pop up! You can also email the photos directly from their ipad attached to the booth. Check out all of the photos from our event here. Here’s a little preview..
Oh & I cannot forget to mention these ladies. My assistant hostesses are AMAZING. The event could not have been as awesome as it was without them. They all bring something unique to the CCSD table and I am so thankful to have crossed paths with each of them. From left to right – Marissa of Vivalacool / Jenny of Design Line Interiors / Me (ha) / Conni of Art in the Find! Thank you for all of your hard work pretty gals!
ummm how dreamy is that bougainvillea installation?! It made the perfect backdrop to our photo booth!
And a BIG shout out to Jeremy, the GM of West Elm in San Diego, for helping put on this event!! We couldn’t have done it without you. Jeremy is also the writer behind ScarfLeftovers – where fashion and food meet!
There are so many creative and talented folks in San Diego – it makes me giddy to put them all in the same room!
and I will leave you with a few of these…because they are my favorite people & they had way too much fun in the amigo booth.
Oh! I so wish I had discovered your blog earlier! I’m also a designer from San Diego, and a few other San Diegan creative ladies and I were brainstorming a few months back about putting on a blogger mixer in SD. This would have been so fun for us to go to. Welp! Consider me a new follower. Hope you have more things like this in the future. 🙂
