I had the pleasure of attending the annual Dwell on Design trade show in Los Angeles this past weekend with my handsome Landscape Architect.  Place us in a room with many impressive designers, innovative design technology and new products to drool over and we become entirely way too giddy!

I wish I had the time to blog about every single booth I fell madly in love with, however, I have put a highlight on three exhibits. One of the two above is called Half13, a modern outdoor furniture shop by the insanely talented designer, Damian Velasquez. These pieces are fabricated from stainless steel with an added powder coat. Created and designed in the U.S. – I would have to say these are a perfect pop of color.

The second is a Johnathan Adler + Kohler collaboration of colorful, bright sinks.  I mean really, I would take one of these sinks in a heartbeat if I had a beautiful all-white kitchen to myself. Instead, I will have to “ooo and ahhh” for a while or convince a future client to design her kitchen around one of these beauties.

For obvious reasons, it was love at first sight of this Connect:Homes model home designed by Kishani Perera using all things West Elm.  Ah, green design. Photos found on West Elm’s Front & Main Blog.
