We all hope our work spaces look like this one day…right? Heck – maybe your office already does look like this, and in that case, I envy you. I decided it was time to get the piles and piles (neatly stacked piles might I add) of papers, magazines, swatches, sketches, etc. that was taking over my desk …. organized. I think it’s about time to scan and shred all of the boring paperwork that just adds clutter to my life. We are all going paperless now, right? The only paper I want hanging around is the type I can draw on and make to-do lists. Hopefully with this post full of items that helped me tidy up a bit this weekend; we can all get a little closer to our dream office.
Office One | Office Two | Office Three | Office Four | Modern Weave Baskets
I have found it is better to keep all of the items that keep you creative or productive on display and hide the rest. Place important (necessary) papers and most office supplies in a file cabinet or drawers and organize them with specific drawer organizers. Unless, all of your supplies are way too cool to hide – the by all means display them. Only a few of mine are attractive enough to expose; but I don’t want to crowd my desk anyway. Below are a few items I have that have helped me tidy up my office…except the chair…I just had to share it’s beauty.
1. Shelving 2. Magazine File 3. Magazine File 4. Bamboo Drawer Organizers 5. Cord Organizer 6. File Cabinet 7. Saddle Chair 8. Boxes 9. Rolling Storage
Good luck organizing your office! I would love to see before and after photos! Once I get a new desk I will share some photos of my space. My current desk was given to Cody (my fiance) and it is 1000lbs. of unattractive. It’s supposed to be a commercial desk, sitting in a CEO’s office with fake plants. On that note, are there any CEOs looking for a desk?. We are selling it.
Happy Monday folks!
Love love love that filing mint cabinet! Great picks. I love a clean and tidy office 🙂
