Sometimes I feel like I will keep the print magazine business going strong by myself alone – with my many trips to Barnes & Noble + local stores to stock up. I don’t know what I would do without them. There’s something about actually flipping the pages, writing notes in the white space, ripping out pages for inspiration and (if you are like me) creasing the edges when you want to go back and look at it later.
The ones above are some of my favorites for various reasons.
1. Domino – I am sure you have heard me say, Domino is baaaack! It’s my go-to decor and style magazine and their online presence is just as resourceful and inspiring to say the least!
2. Darling – this is the kind of read you want to have next to you on a Sunday morning with tea/coffee in hand all cozied up by a window. It’s the art of being a woman. It’s inspiring and motivating. These writers are the thought leaders that have become my personal kind of mentor.
3. Kinfolk – the images alone inspire me. it’s quarterly and ad-free which makes it worth every penny. I think my favorite part of the print magazine are the recipes and the beautifully written stories.
4. Dwell – I have been hooked on this magazine for a while now, their idea behind the magazine isn’t to achieve perfectionism, but to find comfort in the way you live and your surroundings. They showcase modern homes and spaces that are real and live in. You will find many many many copies of these in my household (Cody loves it as well).
What are some of your favorite print magazines?
Darling is soo amazing! What a great mission they have and their stories/ photos are so unique.
I completely agree, Jaime! I seriously read the issue from cover to cover (which is rare for me).
